Material im Überblick

Unter Nutzung innovativer kanadischer Technologien präsentiert der Marshall McLuhan Salon außerhalb seiner permanenten Ausstellung zur kanadischen Kultur, Geschichte, Gesellschaft und Politik eine Vielzahl von exklusiven Film- und Audiobeiträgen mit und über den kanadischen Medientheoretiker Marshall McLuhan. Im Sinne McLuhans lädt die Ausstellung zur Interaktion mit den Medien und zur Auseinandersetzung mit seinen Theorien ein.

Die Marshall McLuhan Ausstellung wurde das erste Mal im Rahmen der Transmediale.07 gezeigt, wurde aber dauerhaft in die permanente Ausstellung des Salons integriert.

Die Sonderausstellung im Marshall McLuhan Salon umfasst die im Folgenden aufgelisteten Video- und Audiobeiträge (in der Originalfassung) mit und über Marshall McLuhan sowie CD-ROMs und Bücher.
